The Cape Coral Animal Shelter is sharing a heartfelt plea to find a forever home for Jingle, a special dog with a touching story of hope and resilience.
Jingle, part of a litter known as the Christmas Puppies, was adopted as a cheerful pup but returned to the shelter in January 2024 due to severe allergies. His condition left him hairless and uncomfortable, but the shelter's veterinary team worked tirelessly to help him heal.

"We know there is someone out there who understands what it means to live with allergies," said Liz McCauley, Executive Director.
Jingle has waited 685 days as of Monday for a home, with his ongoing allergy care being a barrier for potential adopters. However, the Cape Coral Animal Shelter is committed to helping the family that adopts him.

"The Cape Coral Animal Shelter Veterinary Clinic is committed to supporting Jingle’s future family," said Melanie Waite, Director of Operations.
The shelter asks the community to share Jingle's story and consider offering him a loving home this Christmas.
