More humidity, more clouds, and shift in the pattern midweek

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking a stalling front and increasing tropical moisture that leads to more rain on Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday

0601 What to Expect

Monday is off to a very humid start with dew points in the mid to upper 70s. Stray showers and cloudy conditions will be with us throughout the morning and midday hours with those showers moving inland in the afternoon. A few storms will be with our inland communities, but many will be staying hot and dry. Highs top out in the lower 90s with "feels like" temperatures in the upper 90s to lower 100s.

Tuesday

0601 Rain Chances

Tuesday starts warm and muggy with stray coastal showers popping up throughout the morning. Tuesday will feature a little more rain, but those isolated storms will developing mainly inland and once again head towards Florida's east coast throughout the day. Temperatures top out in the lower to mid 90s and feel even hotter through the afternoon.

Wednesday

0601 Weather Maker

Wednesday will feature a bit more rain beginning with a few coastal showers through the morning. More scattered rain and storms (60% coverage) will develop in the afternoon and those pockets of heavy rain will continue into the evening. Temperatures will not be as hot with highs mainly in the mid to upper 80s.
