Balloon release to be held for 15-year-old killed in Lehigh Acres neighborhood

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (WINK) — A balloon release will be held on Friday for a 15-year-old who was killed in a homicide on SW 22nd Street in Lehigh Acres.

Deputies are conducting their investigation into the death of Matthew St. Marc. The door-knocking comes after deputies executed a search warrant that involved the Lee County Sheriff's Office SWAT team at a home a block away from the killing on Wednesday.

WINK News is still working to confirm if that was related to the shooting investigation.

As of Friday morning, no one has been arrested for the homicide of St. Marc. LCSO is asking for patience as detectives work the case.
